Application Process
Living Local
Because Time Banking is an experiment in local community building, we require our members to live or work within the following zip codes; 90026, 90029, 90031, 90039, 90027, 90065, 90012, 90013, 90057, 90004. Click on Start your own to learn how to set up a time bank in your neighborhood.
Step One: Fill out an Application and Reference Form

Step Two: Register
Set up a user name and password for the Time Bank on-line software (Community Weaver) by clicking on this link,

Your account will not be fully active until your application and references have been processed by the Steering Committee and you have attended an orientation.
Step Three: Application Review
Your application and references will be reviewed by the Steering Committee. The steering committee is comprised of current Echo Park Time Bank members. Application reviews are conducted on the first Sunday of every month. You will be contacted by a coordinator and, upon acceptance, you will be invited to attend the next monthly member orientation. All new members must attend an orientation.
Step Four: Attend an Orientation
Earn your first Time Credit by attending one of the new member orientations held on the second Saturday of every month from 1-2PM at The Silverlake Library 2411 Glendale Blvd L.A., CA 90039. Step Five: Set up Your Profile
You will receive an email informing you that your account has been activated. Now you can set up your profile, offers and requests. Click here for a tutorial on how to use the Community Weaver software.
Step Six: Membership Donation
Once you have been notified of your acceptance, pay the one time membership donation of $10 - $40 (sliding scale). No one will be turned away for lack of funds. You may use pay pal or mail a donation to:

New Member Orientations
Once your application has been reviewed and accepted, new members must attend an orientation. New member orientations are held on the second Saturday of every month from 1-2PM at The Silverlake Library 2411 Glendale Blvd L.A., CA 90039. Below are the dates for 2011. Earn a Time Credit for attending!
Please be sure to fill out the application and wait for acceptance before attending the orientation.
